Adam Holland Wells - Writer

Adam began writing for stage at the Nottingham New Theatre, where he had five of his pieces produced between February 2011 and September 2012.  For his work writing and directing The Off-White Horse, a piece dealing with a dysfunctional family with a heavily autistic daughter Adam was invited to be a part of the International Student Drama Festival ensemble in 2012.

Adam has now written seven original plays, two original musicals and one adaptation for stage of a short story. Of these, five original plays and the adaptation have been performed in venues in Nottingham, Edinburgh and the Wirral. His work has ranged from historical fiction to satirical musical comedy and even scripts in complete Iambic Pentameter. He relishes the opportunity to work with such a talented composer as Libby and believes that the respective aspects that they bring to the table blend beautifully to create fresh and exciting new drama.

Elizabeth Charlesworth - Composer

Elizabeth is a composer with a passion of bringing new music to new ears.

Since graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2011 with a First Class degree in Music, she has been adopted as unofficial resident composer at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham.

Her largest comission called for an 80 minute score for choir and orchestra for the 30th Anniversary of the venue and incorporated ten dance groups from the city of Nottingham.

Most recently, she composed three pieces for the Advanced Music Ensemble for a performance at the Nottingham Classics 2012-2013 season finale.

Outside of the theatre, Elizabeth has received commissions from various companies and ensembles, including Penguin Books and the University of Nottingham.

“Wherever her career takes her, it looks certain that Sunday’s show will be an introduction to someone who will be heard from again.”
